National WWll Museum, Our War Too: Women in Service
Our War Too: Women in Service is a multimedia exhibit at the National WWll Museum in New Orleans honoring the nearly 350,000 American women served during World War II. In addition to video interviews with female WWII veterans, the exhibit integrates archival imagery, interactive elements, and animations to simulate a physical scrapbook in digital form, preserving and bringing to life the memories of servicewomen.

THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE
Designed to evoke the experience of flipping through a scrapbook, the exhibit features two digital screens shaped like a physical scrapbook. Visitors turn each page, click elements to magnify them, and trigger animations. Each image in the scrapbook was handpicked from the museum's archive of wartime albums and memory books, curated by female veterans to commemorate their time in service. The scrapbook explores personal stories, friendship, daily life, major milestones, and the limitations faced by these extraordinary women.
